What we collect
We use Plausible Analytics to count anonymous page views. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect any personal data. It tracks the URL you visited, the referring page, country-level location derived from IP, and coarse device type. IP addresses are discarded after processing. See Plausible's privacy page for details.
When you enter a domain into our search bar, we store the normalized origin (e.g., https://example.com) and the resulting CrUX snapshot in our database to serve future requests faster. No user identifiers are stored alongside this data.
What we don't collect
- No cookies
- No login or account data — we don't offer accounts
- No email addresses — we don't offer email capture
- No cross-site tracking
- No fingerprinting
Advertising
Once live, we display Google AdSense ads on domain, guide, industry, and compare pages. AdSense may set cookies to personalize or limit ads you see. You can manage ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.
Third-party data sources
Core Web Vitals data comes from Google's Chrome UX Report (CrUX), which is publicly available. CrUX is opt-in by Chrome users. We do not collect any data directly from visitors to the domains we report on.
Domain removal requests
If your domain appears on Web Vitals Explorer and you'd like it removed, email contact@webvitals.devwith proof of ownership (e.g., a DNS TXT record or email from a postmaster@ address on the domain). We'll remove cached snapshots within 7 days. We cannot stop CrUX itself from publishing the data — that's Google's decision.
Data requests
EU users, UK users, and California residents: you have the right to request access to or deletion of personal data. Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to export or delete. If you believe otherwise, email us and we'll investigate.
